Caran d'Ache presents its latest range - Claim Your Style. Their iconic hexagonal 849 collection is popular among quality pen enthusiasts & collectors, particularly limited editions with unique quirks and colour schemes such as the recycled Nespresso pen collection (my personal favourite). While the focal point of this new range is the aesthetic and individuality of each writing instrument, Caran d'Ache wishes to keep their underlying message regarding environmental friendliness at the front of everyone's minds as well - something I wholly appreciate.

“We have placed sustainable development at the very heart of our philosophy since 1915,” Caran d'Ache president Carole Hubscher told Forbes magazine. “We produce all our products in our workshops in Geneva, we integrate solar energy, use FSC-certified wood as well as Swiss wood for some of our collections.”

The new Claim Your Style collection includes six uniquely-coloured designs, each meticulously chosen to express a different aura. The range was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the sturdy 849 design, a pen perfectly crafted to perform during everyday use whilst maintaining that luxurious feeling. My first experience with an 849 was with the Nespresso collection - their unconventional design was oddly refreshing and not difficult to grow accustomed to. With updated designs coming together constantly, Caran d'Ache enables its customers to find a pen they are comfortable using in the fashionable sense.
