Fabriano

Not many companies can claim to have started in 1264, nor have such distinguished customers as, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, but Fabriano is one such company. Based in Fabriano in Italy, the company pioneered many of the processes now common in paper manufacture today, including the watermark and the technique of surface sheet gluing using gelatine.
