The Exclusive James Sinclair Stationery Collection

The Exclusive James Sinclair Stationery Collection

I've been with Penfax for a little while now, and something I've really grown to admire is the primary Penfax own brand: The James Sinclair Collection.

The collection is a wonderful range of classy handmade products clad in traditional Northumberland tweed. While it is still finding its feet as a brand in the the vast and scary world of competitive products, it certainly fits into a niche that necessitated filling - a combination of stationery and traditional British, rustic class (something I rarely see in products other than pencils and pens themselves). Items such as the address books boast small accents of genuine leather, devising a design meticulously balancing an interesting visual variety with the simplicity of the rustic vibe. The collection overall really reminds me of the Kingsman movie series. British, classic, classy, but not afraid to pop in some fun and modern ideas for the sake of entertainment (or in the products' case, practicality).

I very much recommend this collection as a gift or personal pampering product. It is absolutely a treat to see grow into a popular and iconic brand.

Shakespeare’s sonnets are arguably the most famous expressions of love and desire in history and for good reason: who doesn’t want to be compared to a summer’s day? But far from being the first to entice a lover using beautiful penmanship; love letters can be traced over 5000 years ago to Indian Mythology.
