Spring Newsletter blog 2018

Hello and welcome to our Spring Newsletter 2018 and we also hope you've had a good start to the New Year.  Its that time of year when we can feel winters finally moving on and the days are getting longer; the sun is getting warmer and the gardens showing signs of new life - talking England here!  Although saying all that there's a lot of snow about today. It can also be that time when we get an urge to turnover a new leaf and get better organised, which is what stationery is very much about, there's nothing like writing in a new journal or diary and making that first mark.
This year we have many new lines from your old favourites; Leuchtturm, Fabriano, Paperblanks, Rhodia and so many more; also pens from Pelikan, Parker, Lamy and Cross too.  We have also been very busy with our own new brand James Sinclair Collection which was launched Christmas last year and is already gathering pace.
This Spring of course sees an earlier than usual Easter weekend (30th March - 1st April) and Mothering Sunday (11th March) likewise is sooner, something to do with the moon we believe...

Hope to hear from you soon

Kind regards

House of Penfax

Love letters... then get writing.

Shakespeare’s sonnets are arguably the most famous expressions of love and desire in history and for good reason: who doesn’t want to be compared to a summer’s day? But far from being the first to entice a lover using beautiful penmanship; love letters can be traced over 5000 years ago to Indian Mythology.
